See the three planes
Imagine a sheet of glass passing through the body. The movement travels along the sheet.
The class introduces sagittal movements through folding and unfolding, frontal movements through side bending and moving limbs sideways, and transverse movements through turning. A plane is not an instruction to split the body. The axis is the line around which the movement turns. A yoga pose can involve more than one plane at different joints.
Choose one plane. Play the small demonstration, pause it, then reveal its axis.
This release does not implement this lesson’s full animation. Its behaviour is specified in the PRD and content data. Step controls will accompany every drag interaction.
Look at the moving region. What stays relatively still?
Guardrail: Never classify an entire complex pose as exclusively one plane. Midsagittal remains a small reference note, reflecting the instructor's decision not to dwell on it.
